European Prize for Women Innovators Ceremony

Meet the finalists competing for the European Prize for Women Innovators, powered by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). These innovators showcase the power of diversity in driving Europe’s competitiveness. The winners, chosen by an independent jury, will be revealed during the EIC Summit 2026. 

The prize, created in 2013, features three categories: EIC Rising Innovators, EIC Women Innovators and EIT Women Leadership. Finalists are selected for breakthrough innovation, impact on society and the planet, and their role as inspiring leaders. 

This year’s cohort spans fields such as medical diagnostics, digital mental health, sustainable materials, space technologies, supply-chain transparency and plant-based nanomedicine, reflecting the depth of women-led deep-tech innovation across Europe.
