On 13 and 20 November 2026, the EIC Community Programme is organising a new edition of the EIC Winter School focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) for fundraising, due diligence and corporate partnerships. Open to all EIC awardees, the sessions will cut through the complexity of ESG and focus on what really matters for start-ups: what investors and corporate partners increasingly expect, what evidence they want to see, and how to get ready for those conversations.
Divided into two online sessions of 3 hours each, the training will address a key challenge for EIC awardees navigating fundraising, partnerships and commercial opportunities: how to understand how ESG considerations increasingly enter investor due diligence, corporate partnerships and procurement processes. With practical guidance from specialised experts, participants will learn what ESG information and evidence they may be asked to provide, how to identify gaps in their current approach, and how to communicate their ESG credentials in a credible and proportionate way.
The sessions will take place on:
- Friday 13 November 2026 | Session 1: Understanding ESG expectations from investors, corporates and public buyers
Friday 20 November 2026 | Session 2: Preparing a practical ESG due diligence pack for investors and partners
