Francisco Infante

EIC Summit 2026 Speaker

  • "Corporates as Venture Clients: Unlocking Scale in Europe"
    Day 1  | Leaders stage, 17:00 – 17:30

Francisco Infante is the founder and CTO of Voltrac, a Valencia-based deep tech company building Thor, a 3.5-tonne driverless electric UGV designed for the most demanding environments on the planet: European farmland and the modern battlefield.

Voltrac was founded on a simple but urgent conviction: Europe faces a structural labour shortage in agriculture. Thor is Voltrac's answer: a heavy-duty, fully driverless platform compatible with existing farm implements, already operating in real field conditions alongside some of Europe's leading agri-food producers. With dual-use capability in defence and critical logistics, Thor is built for the full spectrum of European sovereignty challenges, from feeding the continent to protecting it.

Born into a family of agricultural machinery manufacturers, Francisco trained as an aerospace engineer and spent years pushing the boundaries of electric propulsion and autonomous flight at Destinus and Volocopter before returning to the ground. Voltrac has raised €9 million from Extantia, FoodLabs, and Antler, and manufactures entirely in-house in Valencia.
