Biography
Ms Nassima Ferahtia currently manages EU-funded internationalisation initiative of the European Innovation Council (EIC), within the Business Acceleration Services. Nassima has a deep expertise in policy development at the European Commission, access to finance and program management to drive collaboration, foster innovation and leverage financial instruments with a dedication to enhancing the scale of the European Innovative companies.
With over a decade of experience, Nassima has been working on establishing various programs and funds aimed at investing in Europe’s top innovators across key sectors over the world. She has contributed to the launch of initiatives such as Breakthrough Energy Venture Europe and the Catalyst Fund, as well as the EU Bio-Circular Economy Fund and InnovFin funds/advisory. Her expertise spans both public and private investment funds, including her past role as a Senior Investment Advisor within Bill Gates’ private office and global funds.
