Sebastian von Ribbentrop is a founding partner of Join Capital. He focuses on investments across various stages and sectors including industrial vertical software, defence technology, and breakthrough component manufacturing. With over 35 years of experience in the private assets sector, he has successfully established and managed various pioneering companies and closed-end funds.
Sebastian actively serves on various boards of early-stage businesses from the future of compute at 2DPhotonics, Astrape to AI engineering at Generative, Hypercritical further in fibre optic sensing for early warning underwater systems at Optics11 to infrastructure-free navigation for Opteran.
Sebastian holds degrees in Computer Science and Finance from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany and served with the Gebirgsjägerbataillon 234 in Bavaria.
