Green Vac wants to Transform the lives of 600 million livestock holders in developing countries with the BGV1 vaccine for brucellosis. While there are classical vaccines in the market for over 60 years, they are inadequate to eradicate the disease, and are unsafe, with their use limited to young animals and inadequate for mass vaccination.
The company’s BGV1 vaccine, currently under patent, is a safe, cost-effective, protective alternative that can include pregnant animals in mass vaccination and contribute to uncomplicated control & eradication programmes, among other advantages.
