The EIC Fund is the venture arm of the European Innovation Council (EIC). It was set up as a capital fund under private law with the European Commission as a shareholder to fund companies selected under the EIC Accelerator.

The EIC Fund invests in a promising and select group of European start-ups, SMEs and small mid-caps (from the EU and associated countries) across a variety of verticals, including health, energy, green, digital and deep-tech.
All investments are preceded by a thorough evaluation by external experts, a due diligence process overseen by the EIC Fund Investment Committee, and a final decision by the EIC Fund Board.
Three open positions are now available to join the EIC as Programme Manager in the areas of health, AI, energy systems and green tech. Eligible candidates are welcome to apply by 26 January.
On 27 October 2023, the EIC Cell and Gene Therapy Symposium took place in in the context of the 30th Annual ESGCT Congress in Brussels. The event was organised by Dr. Iordanis Arzimanoglou, EIC Programme Manager for Health and Biotech.
