The Competition acts as a beacon for social innovators across Europe, incentivising & rewarding early-stage ideas, shaping our society for the better.
About
The competition supports innovators to develop their ideas into working solutions, and facilitates a network of radical innovators shaping our society. This prize acknowledges the social innovation as a potent approach for responding to societal challenges.
Launched in 2013 in memory of social innovation pioneer Diogo Vasconcelos, the European Social Innovation Competition (EUSIC) awards three Challenge Prizes and one Impact Prize for the best socially innovative projects for a more inclusive, just and sustainable Europe.

Categories
In 2022, there are two categories to apply:
The Challenge Prize

The Challenge Prize is looking for projects with a particular focus on breakthrough, market-creating and deep-tech innovations embracing the policy of this year edition: ‘the future of living, innovation for affordable, and sustainable housing districts’.
Any natural person or legal entity from the EU and Horizon Europe Associated Countries may apply.

The Impact Prize

The European Social Innovation Impact Prize 2022 aims at recognizing the efforts made by the semi-finalists of the European Social innovation competition challenge prize 2021 edition to evolve their original applications, develop the best impact methodology, and demonstrate the best results among all participants.
Only semi-finalists of the European Social Innovation Competition Challenge Prize 2021 edition can apply
