The opportunities created by novel technologies and disruptive innovations promise to deliver the fair, green and digital recovery Europe needs. But we cannot get ahead if we leave half the population behind. To mark International Women’s Day, the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) are organising a special livestreamed event with the women driving Europe’s deep tech future, opened by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
