Marco Abbarchi holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Florence and LENS Laboratory (European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy). He was in a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japan, between 2009 and 2010, and in 2010 join was a Marie Curie Fellow at École Normal Supérieure in Paris.
Abbarchi was an Associate Professor at Aix-Marseille University from 2013 to 2023. He is currently Chief Scientific Officer at SOLNIL.
