Michaela Kršková

Biography

Michaela Kršková holds strategic advisory roles at the Kempelen Institute for Intelligent Technologies and the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. She is on the Supervisory Board of Slovenska sporitelna, Slovakia's leading bank owned by the ERSTE Group. She served as Slovakia's first Chief Innovation Officer from 2021 to 2024. In that role, she oversaw the design and implementation of country's National RDI Strategy 2030, and managed over half a billion EUR in public funding calls and financial instruments for research and innovation within the Recovery and Resilience Facility. 

Michaela co-founded Neulogy Ventures, one of the first venture capital firms in Slovakia, and co-founded and led Startup  Awards SK, a leading startup competition and gathering with a key role in the development of the Slovak innovation ecosystem. She also worked as an innovation consultant for Civitta and Oxford University Innovation. Michaela holds university degrees from Princeton University and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
