EIC Fund at the World Economic Forum in Davos

This week, 15-19 January 2024, the EIC Fund is present at Davos World Economic Forum with five of its most promising start-ups which are embracing and facilitating the Artificial Intelligence area. These start-ups have been offered by the European Innovation Council (EIC) an intense week of business development and networking in the “AI House Davos”. AI House Davos is a forum aimed at bringing together policymakers, academics, and industry leaders to discuss, pose questions, and offer solutions on the opportunity of AI.

The AI House Davos establishes a forum to unite these leaders towards a common goal: Channeling AI's immense potential for the advancement of humanity.

Colleagues of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission’s DG for Research and Innovation are supporting the EIC Fund companies and participating in the high level conference sessions organised in the AI House.

Start-ups supported by the EIC Fund are:

  • SiPearl: developing the next generation High Performance computing chip for AI applications
  • Axelera AI: developing semi-conductors for AI computing in the edge
  • Mutliverse Computing: bringing to market quantum inspired software and algorithms boosting AI computing capacity
  • Arctic Therapeutics: harnessing the power of applied genomics and AI to accelerate drug development, including advancing a ground-breaking treatment for dementia
  • Skyfora: weather forecasting with an unprecedented scale and precision as never seen before by deploying AI based computing and algorithms
