The Trusted Investor Network brings together a select group of investors committed to co-investing in high-potential deep-tech companies alongside the EIC Fund.

With this new cohort, the Network now comprises 111 members, collectively managing over €336 billion in assets. These include some of Europe’s leading venture capital firms, corporates, and long-term institutional investors, all playing a key role in scaling Europe’s most innovative and disruptive companies.

All members of the network commit to a Trusted Investor Network Charter, setting out shared values to build companies in Europe, and to co-invest with the EIC Fund. According to the EIC Impact Report published today, the EIC Fund has an impressive investment record. Since 2021, it has emerged as a leading early-stage technology investor in Europe. It has completed over 150 investment rounds in start-ups and SMEs, including 60 rounds in 2024 alone. The Fund has also successfully attracted more than €1.6 billion in co-investment, primarily from private investors, equating to over €3 of additional investment for every euro of EIC Fund's direct investment.

The Trusted Investor Network will further strengthen these co-investments and enable companies in critical technologies areas to access larger investments needed to compete globally.

Background

The Network was established in 2024 with 71 investors managing over €90 billion in assets, spanning venture capital firms, corporate investors, and family offices that align with the EIC’s mission of supporting breakthrough innovation. Its aim is to secure scale-up financing for high-risk deep tech companies that have an enormous potential but often struggle on the European market to find the right investors.

The network is open to other like-minded investors, who can reach out to the EIC Fund team through a dedicated eic [dot] tinateicfund [dot] eu (mailbox)
