The European Innovation Council (EIC), in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union in Singapore and DMG events, is organising the first high-level networking event (“European Reception”) dedicated to European excellence on innovation at Gastech 2023, the world’s most influential gathering for global energy and climate tech industries.
This business reception will take place at Singapore Expo – European Pavilion on 6 September 2023 and it will bring together high-level representatives from the European Union, led by the Ambassador to Singapore, industry leaders, diplomatic representatives and business innovators to connect and grow their global partnerships. The “European Reception” will showcase the advancement of Europe in the energy transition with the purpose of opening for its scaleups new business opportunities on the growing Southeast Asia market.
The event’s agenda includes addressing from top leaders such as:
- H.E. Iwona PIÓRKO, Ambassador of the European Union to Singapore.
- Viorel PECA, Head of Unit, European Innovation Council, European Commission.
- Simon FORD, Vice President, Gastech, DMG Events.

About Gastech 2023
The world’s largest meeting place for the gas, LNG, hydrogen, low-carbon solutions and climate technologies industries will take place on 5-8 September 2023 in Singapore. Gastech 2023 will look ahead to the future amidst an industry-wide transformation to drive progress to net zero. The selected EIC beneficiaries will be able to showcase and explore the latest solutions, services, and technologies that will increase efficiencies, reduce carbon emissions and enhance business performance.
The 2023 edition of the trade fair will welcome 750+ exhibiting companies from 100+ countries, 600+ speakers and 40.000+ attendees.
