The European Innovation Council (EIC), in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to the United Arab Emirates and Dubai World Trade Centre, is organising the official opening reception of the European Pavilion at GITEX Global 2023, the world's largest and most inclusive tech event.
This official launch will commence with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the European Pavilion on Monday, 16 October 2023 and it will bring together high-level representatives from the European Union, industry leaders, diplomatic representatives and business innovators to connect and grow global partnerships. The business reception will serve as a platform to highlight Europe's progress in the technology sector, with the objective of facilitating new business prospects for its scaleup ventures within the rapidly expanding Middle East market.
The agenda includes addressing from top leaders such as:
- H. E. Lucie Berger, Ambassador of the European Union to the United Arab Emirates.
- Stéphane Ouaki, Head of European Innovation Council Programme at European Commission.
- Ayman Hassan, AVP Commercial, Dubai World Trade Centre.
20 innovators, exhibiting under the European Pavilion, stood out in the GITEX 2022’s tradeshow, featuring the latest developments in crucial sectors, such as 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud technology, cybersecurity, FinTech, blockchain, data analytics and smart cities.
