The EU’s information needs, ranging from climate change to economic and societal changes, play a crucial role in daily processes as well as policymaking. Satellites help keep this system running, allowing Europe to respond appropriately and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the need for satellites to manoeuvre, and their slow manoeuvring speed, can cause a slower response than needed. The EIC-funded SATAGILITY- GO2MARKET project offers a solution to this issue by developing novel actuators for the improved manoeuvring of satellites, allowing faster operating times and better connection.
