Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, Skeleton Technologies
Taavi Madiberk is the CEO and co-founder of Skeleton Technologies, a Global Cleantech 100 company and a global leader in energy storage technology for automotive, transportation, grid and industrial applications. Using its patented ‘curved graphene’ technology, Skeleton works with some of the largest companies in the world to decrease carbon emissions and fuel consumption, and to power electrification to fight climate change. Taavi co-founded the company at the age of 21 in Estonia.
Skeleton now associates German engineering and Estonian IT and operates Europe’s largest supercapacitor production facility in Saxony, Germany. The company has raised over 170 M EUR since its foundation in 2009 from private and public investors. Skeleton is also a member of the European Battery Alliance, European Commission’s initiative to develop a competitive and sustainable cell manufacturing value chain in Europe, and of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, the EC's initiative aiming at an ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2030.
