Be it the grand opening of the EIC Summit, explorative panel discussions or inspiring speeches, you can watch them all. Among others, our top speakers discussed diversity in innovation, deep tech "Made in Europe", European technological sovereignty or the Corporate Venture Capital. Last, but not least, the EIC Forum - composed of Member States and associated countries’ public authorities and bodies in charge of innovation policies and programmes - was launched during the event.
During the event, winners of three EIC Prizes were awarded. Dortmund became the European Capital of Innovation 2021 with Vantaa recognised Rising Innovator. The European Commission announced winners of the European Innovation Procurement Awards (EUIPA) and most talented women entrepreneurs from across the EU and associated countries were awarded the EU Prize for Women Innovators.
Academics, businesses and policymakers discussed broad list of topics from breakthrough technologies in the field of space technology, collaboration in the post COVID era, investing with impact to tips and advice on how to manoevre the world of innovation procurement.
The Training Track was available exclusively online. Among others, we covered themes such as patents, intellectual property, managing your IP portfolio or technology transfer and translating results into marketable products. We discussed also what it means for an SMEs to reach climate neutrality and what it brings to a company.
A special session was devoted to a perfect pitch preparation and experienced investor José Martinez explained how investors estimate and judge a potential cooperation with a start-up.
