Mr. Armand RAUDIN (male), Engineer (CentraleSupélec - 2011), is head of Video & Innovation Program of SNCF Security Directorate. He joined SNCF in 2016 and worked on several CCTV topics, especially on the testing and implementation of video analytics (AI Vision) solutions to improve detection and monitoring of security events in railway stations and on board of the trains (studying various dimensions: technologies, legal, processes and economic models). Since 2019, he has been responsible for the Video & Innovation plan of the Security Work Package of SNCF Olympic Games preparation programme and implement several AI experimentations during this important event. He is also involved in several European Research & Innovation projects as chair of the Technical Management Committee of PREVENT PCP (a 13 M€ European project aiming to develop video analytics tools to detect unattended items and track the owners), or as coordinator of SHIELD4CROWD (a European project aiming to identify new technologies to improve security aspect of crowd management). He has also been appointed chair of the New Technologies Working Group in the Security Platform of the UIC (International union of railways) in May 2023.
