Biography
Matthias was an international innovation strategist with a background in media and technology. His work focused on the intersection of technology, global impact, entrepreneurship and culture; inspiring, educating and empowering entrepreneurs, corporate misfits and change makers to tackle our times' most pressing problems. Matthias was co-founder and ‘enfant terrible’ at innovation advisory Nouvel and founding partner of Munich-based corporate venture builder Brand New World.
He consulted with Exo Works, a global innovation consultancy spin-off from Singularity University. He was an adjunct professor of breakthrough Innovation at EADA and executive coach with IESE Business school and spoke on topics including digitisation, technology trends, organisational transformation, new business models and leadership (culture).
Matthias lived and worked across four continents, starting his career as a journalist and senior executive with companies such as Eurosport, TF1, France 24 and Bloomberg, where he was Head of Digital for EMEA.
