Drawing on his experience at IDEO and founding startups across Silicon Valley and Europe, Gregor Gimmy established Venture Clienting as a business discipline at BMW. There he coined the term, developed the underlying model, and in 2015 created and led the BMW Startup Garage — the world's first Venture Client Unit. In 2018 he founded 27pilots, the first Venture Client solutions firm, supporting over 50 corporations including Airbus and Bosch. After 27pilots' acquisition by Deloitte in 2023, he founded VentureClient.org in 2026, the first global organization advancing Venture Clienting standards, research and knowledge for practitioners and researchers. Author of multiple papers and the first book on Venture Clienting, Gregor lectures at leading business schools like INSEAD. At EIC Summit 2026, he makes the case for Venture Clienting as the new standard in corporate venturing.
