Inobiostar

  • Vision & Impact

Inobiostar drives responsible R&D to address global environmental challenges. Our vision is to transform research and innovation into scalable technologies that protect marine ecosystems, restore nature and build a cleaner, more sustainable and resilient future.

  • Collaboration

We have had an excellent experience with the EIC. The lump-sum grant lets us focus on technology rather than administration, while tailored coaching, training, leadership programmes and dedicated events provide valuable support, connections and opportunities to grow.

  • What's next ?

With product development now complete, our next step is industrialisation and market entry. Over the next five years, we aim to scale production, expand into international markets and grow our impact, while continuing to actively contribute to and benefit from the EIC deep-tech community.

Becoming part of the EIC deep-tech community has been a transformative experience for INOBIOSTAR. While the patient capital has been important in accelerating our technology development, we have found the broader support equally valuable - from access to world-class experts and infrastructure and dedicated training to an open dialogue with European innovation leaders and decision-makers. This combination of financial support, expertise, networks and opportunities to exchange perspectives and contribute to shaping the future of European deep-tech startups and scale-ups is truly unique. For us, the EIC is much more than a funding programme - it is a community that provides the knowledge, connections and support needed to turn deep-tech innovation into real-world impact. Environmentally friendly solutions are always welcomed at the Port of Klaipėda. We actively seek and support innovative solutions that contribute to reducing the environmental footprint. Our cooperation with Inobiostar began in the early stages of the project, with opportunities to test their solutions in the real environment of the Port of Klaipėda for oil spill response, including the collection and neutralisation of petroleum products. We are proud of this partnership and of the opportunity to support researchers in developing innovations that can transform the way oil spills are managed and neutralised. We believe that this cooperation can help create the solutions and technologies of tomorrow, with the potential to be widely applied not only at the Port of Klaipėda, but also beyond Lithuania.
