Solmeyea’s EIC Accelerator project scales its IP-protected Hybrid Vertical Microalgae Fermentation platform to transform CO₂ into MEY, a non-GMO, white, functional microalgae protein for human consumption. By replacing resource-intensive proteins with carbon-negative ingredients, Solmeyea supports food security, reduces land and water pressure, valorises industrial CO₂, and helps Europe build a more resilient, sustainable food system and now are launching highly functional RTD superfood snacks.

What's next ?Next, Solmeyea will scale its patented CO₂-utilisation platform from demonstration to industrial deployment, launch highly functional RTD superfood snacks powered by MEY, and prepare its FOAK CCU-to-Proteins Flagship Facility to produce natural, sustainable proteins at European scale.

It has given us the credibility, resources and momentum to scale our patented CO₂-utilisation technology from breakthrough innovation toward industrial deployment. We are now preparing our first-of-a-kind CCU-to-Proteins Flagship Facility, designed to help Europe strengthen its geostrategic independence in natural food resources and proteins by decoupling food production from conventional agriculture and converting CO₂ into healthy, functional nutrition, rich in proteins, vitamins, fibres and all necessary amino acids in the most sustainable ever way.
