Ioana is currently coordinating a team of experienced investment officers withing the European Investment Bank, advising the EIC Fund on their equity investments into early stage deep-tech companies selected by the EIC, since its inception. With over 25 years of experience in investment banking and consultancy, specializing in M&A and debt capital markets across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and now the broader European Union (EU), she brings a wealth of expertise. Ioana began her professional career with leading European banks such as ING and Erste Group, as well as global financial institutions like Citigroup, before transitioning to consultancy roles focusing on M&A and fundraising with EY. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Vienna.
