Kasim Kutay is Chief Executive Officer of Novo Holdings A/S, Denmark, a position he has held since September 1, 2016. In addition, Kasim is a member of the Board of Directors of Novo Nordisk A/S and Novonesis A/S. From 2009 to 2016 Kasim was a Partner and member of the Global Management Committee of Moelis & Co. From 1989 to 2007 Kasim held a number of positions at Morgan Stanley, including Managing Director in the Healthcare Group. Kasim was member of the Board of Trustees of Northwick Park Institute for Medical Research, UK, from 2005 to 2016. Kasim was member of the Board of Governors from 2006 to 2011 and the Investment Committee from 2011 to 2016 of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), UK.
Kasim is Co-chair of the Board of CW+, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. At Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Kasim has championed the launch of Best For You, a dedicated centre for the treatment of adolescents in mental health crisis.
Kasim is a UK national and holds a MSc. and BSc. in Economics from the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science).
