Biography
Kat has spent the past decade working across Europe’s startup ecosystem, bridging entrepreneurship, investment and public policy. An entrepreneur at heart, she co-founded Five by Five (later acquired by Capgemini) and went on to become one of Europe’s first Chief Impact Officers at late-stage UX analytics startup Contentsquare.
She has since brought this founder’s perspective into government, leading the French Tech Mission under President Macron and helping deliver a national startup strategy credited with strengthening France’s tech ecosystem and global brand. She later served two consecutive terms on the Board of the European Innovation Council and continues to support EU startup policymaking as an EIC Ambassador and contributor to Commissioner Zaharieva’s Startup and Scaleup Forum.
Kat was named one of UNESCO’s “50 Minds for the Next 50 Years” and recognized as an Obama Leader for her work in ecosystem building and public service.
