Lara Passante leads the unit Common Data and Knowledge management in DG Research and Innovation, connecting science, policy, and innovation. She completed her PhD at the Free University of Brussels on brain development and cellular signalling. She moved to the European Commission in 2008, where she held various roles supporting research and innovation across multiple fields.
