Michiel Beers is the co-founder of WEAREONE.world and one of the driving forces behind Tomorrowland. More than 20 years ago, he launched Tomorrowland together with his brother as a one-day event in Belgium. What began as a small-scale gathering has since evolved into a global phenomenon, welcoming over 400,000 visitors from across the world each year, with festival editions and events now taking place in countries such as France, Brazil and Thailand.

Michiel Beers has played a central role in shaping Tomorrowland into a leading force in global entertainment. Under his leadership, the festival has become synonymous with creativity, storytelling, and world-class production, while continuously expanding its footprint far beyond Belgium. with festival editions and events now taking place in countries such as France, Brazil and Thailand.

Over the past years, WEAREONE.world has grown into a 360° entertainment company, developing experiences across live events, design, fashion, and publishing. The brand continues to innovate on a global scale, with projects ranging from international festival editions to groundbreaking live shows, including performances at Sphere Las Vegas and new CORE events in Los Angeles and Melbourne. 

Despite its global reach, Tomorrowland remains firmly rooted in its origins: a 100% Belgian, family-owned and independent company, built without private equity or external shareholders. This independence allows Michiel Beers to lead with authenticity and a long-term vision, staying true to the core mission of bringing people together through music, creativity, and a shared belief in “Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever.”
