Miguel Arias, proud dad, entrepreneur, and investor, has over 20 years of experience in building technology-based startups with global reach. He is general partner at the venture firm, K Fund, with +$700M AUM, where he invests and helps tech entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
As Global Entrepreneurship Director at Telefonica, he was responsible for leading Telefónica's open innovation strategy through Wayra Open Innovation Hubs in 10 countries and Open Future partnerships around the globe. Previously he was the COO at CARTO, a location intelligence scale up, which raised over $100M by lead investors like Accel Venture Partners, Insight ventures, Salesforce Ventures and others.
He loves to teach and share experiences as entrepreneurship professor at the IE Business School and ISDI.
