Investment officer and advisor to the EIC Fund at EIB

Minna Leisvuori

With 20 years of executive experience in transaction consultancy, corporate and investment banking, and institutional asset management in companies such as BNP Paribas Group, Danske Bank, EY and Unilever, her expertise spans across complex capital market transactions, M&A, and advising and financing a diverse range of entities, including global corporations, private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, and institutional investors.

Currently, at the EIB, Minna is focused on direct equity and hybrid-equity investments in deep tech companies, driving innovation and scaling game-changing technologies on behalf of the EIC Fund. This unique venture and growth fund, owned by the European Commission, manages EUR 3.5 billion in assets and invests across health, green, and digital sectors. Prior to her current role Minna worked at the EIF, the asset management arm of the EIB Group, where she led consultative fundraising efforts in the Nordic region. She collaborated with national ministries and promotional institutions to design and implement business angel, venture capital, private equity, debt, and infrastructure fund-of-funds and co-investment schemes, addressing funding gaps and aligning with EU, national, and regional policy goals.
