Heart Aerospace is a Swedish company founded in 2018 with operations in both the U.S. and Sweden. They are building a 30-seat hybrid electric regional aircraft, the ES-30. They believe that electric air travel will be transformational in lowering aviation's carbon emissions, reducing airline operating cost and rebuilding lost regional air connectivity. In September 2024, they completed construction of our first full scale demonstrator aircraft, the Heart X1, that they will fly experimentally in April 2025. They are aiming for type certification in 2029.
