Vassilis Tsanidis is a lawyer, Innovation Procurement Advisor at the European Innovation Council (EIC)/Business Acceleration Services sector (BAS), European Commission (EC). He is responsible for the EIC BAS Innovation Procurement Program that is supporting the uptake by public and private buyers in Europe and worldwide of breakthrough solutions developed by EIC innovators.
Vassilis has more than 10 years working experience in the European Commission in matters related to Innovation Procurement. He worked for many years in the past as Policy Officer in DG CNECT/EC dealing with the Innovation Procurement dossier.
Due to his specialization in Innovation Procurement, Vassilis worked also in the past as TAIEX expert and trainer (European Institute for Public Administration) in this field.
Vassilis holds a PhD and a Master’s Degree in European Business Law and a Bachelor in laws. He is also holder of a Bachelor and a Master’s Degree in the field of Social Sciences.
