E.T.PACK-F

  • Vision & Impact

PERSEI Space develops electrodynamic tether technology, the only propulsion system requiring no propellant  and capable of converting orbital energy into electricity, enabling disruptive, cost-effective solutions for space debris removal and in-orbit servicing.

  • Collaboration

PERSEI Space’s collaboration with the EIC has been outstanding. Through the EIC-funded E.T.PACK, E.T.PACK-F, and E.T.COMPACT projects, its tether technology reached TRL 8 in Europe. EIC support also strengthened its business plan, market analysis, IPR, and HR strategy.

  • What's next ?

Our next steps include the in-orbit demonstration of the deorbit device developed under the E.T.PACK-F project (2026–2027), followed by the preparation of commercial products based on this proven electrodynamic tether technology and direct interaction with customers.

Thanks to the support provided by the EIC, Europe has an autonomous and flight-ready deorbit device based on electrodynamic tethers, with PERSEI Space prepared to lead its commercialisation.
