MOA Foodtech upcycles agri-food byproducts into next-generation high-value ingredients using AI-driven biotechnology. By designing and scaling data-driven fermentation bioprocesses, we reduce development time, cost and risk, enabling more efficient and sustainable ingredient innovation. We deliver this through three complementary verticals: proprietary ingredients, a dedicated platform for starch-rich byproduct valorization, and tailored co-development solutions with partners.
Vision & ImpactMOA is redefining ingredient innovation by combining biotechnology and AI. By digitizing microbiology and removing manual experimentation, MOA lowers the barriers to innovation, unlocks new revenue models and enables a faster transition toward a more sustainable food system.
CollaborationOur experience with the European Innovation Council has been very positive. EIC support accelerated the scaling of our ingredients, bridged the gap between R&D and market deployment, and strengthened our positioning with strategic partners.
What's next ?MOA’s next phase focuses on scaling one of its new functional ingredients to industrial deployment and launching MOA Box, a platform for starch-rich byproduct valorization, while continuing selected codevelopment projects with strategic partners.

EIC support has been instrumental in helping MOA move from technology development to real industrial impact. It enabled us to scale our ingredients, validate our approach with partners, and turn circular biotechnology into a commercially viable solution for the food system. This support has also been key to attracting new partners and customers, building a robust commercial pipeline and real market traction.
