Project name: XenomatiX
Total Budget: € 10 000 000
EU Contribution: € 2 400 000
Location: Leuven, Belgium
XenomatiX designed and developed Xavia, a solid-state lidar, measuring the surrounding environment in 3D pointcloud - day, night and in any weather. Designed for smart city, infrastructure, automotive, and security applications. It offers high dynamic range, detecting objects from a few centimeters up to 140 m. With no moving parts, Xavia ensures durability and consistent performance. Xavia comes with a camera integrated to deliver accurate, cost-effective 3D plus 2D perception.
Vision & ImpactXavia true solid-state LiDAR delivers durable, high-resolution 3D sensing with no moving parts. Integrated with a camera, it overcomes other sensor limitations and supports safer automation and detection across automotive, industrial, security, and smart city markets.
CollaborationEIC support was instrumental for XenomatiX, balancing freedom to execute with expert guidance, while promotion, coaching, and events added value. It validated past achievements and future ambitions, enabling efficient collaboration and helping achieve challenging high-tech project goals.
What's next ?With EIC support, XenomatiX plans to expand Xavia’s impact, developing applications and integrating LiDAR for automotive, industrial, and smart infrastructure use. Future work will advance sensor fusion, automation, and safety across vehicles, drones, and industrial systems

EIC support is not just about the money. It also includes access to an ecosystem, events, coaching, promotion, market insights.
