RoboAiWeeder

The RoboAiWeeder project aims to finalise the development of our unique weeding robot. It is a light-weighted, 100% solar powered, 4-wheeled rover using several contact and contactless methods to effectively removing weeds in open fields and greenhouses. They use AI to process images of plants using deep neural networks and helps them spot the weeds among desired plants in many different conditions. In addition, their robot is able to self-navigate in and around the fields without human intervention or expensive precision-positioning equipment, using proprietary algorithms and off-the-shelf sensors.
