About
The European Innovation Council, major European funding initiative supporting breakthrough technological research and high risk market creating or disrupting innovation, aims to stimulate the European innovation ecosystem by fostering circulation of ideas, bringing actors together to further develop innovations and bridge them with funding opportunities, public or private.
The EIC Market Place, foreseen as a platform where innovation actors, such as research organisations, researchers, innovators, inventors and investors can meet, will allow nurture new exploitation opportunities of available research findings and results.
Successful, impactful innovation is, ultimately, the result of making big bets on high-risk and high-impact approaches and then successfully addressing risk reduction (real and perceived) across a number of areas, including technology risk, product risk, market and regulatory risks, supply chain and organisational risk.
Building on the achievement and expertise of the EIC Pilot Expert group on strengthening the EIC management, the EISMEA has established this expert group to advise the EIC on Tech to Market activities, and on the design of the EIC Marketplace.
